4 Step Design Journey
Step 1: In-Home Consultation & Discovery
We begin with a complimentary in-home consultation to discuss your vision, lifestyle, and needs. We’ll take measurements and define a realistic scope, budget, and timeline to ensure expectations are aligned from day one.
Step 2: In-Studio Design Review & Material Selection
Next, we present a conceptual design and a curated selection of materials at our studio. We provide transparent costs upfront—showing you exactly how selections impact your bottom line—so we can refine the design to meet your investment goals.
Step 3: Site Assessment & Labor Walk-Through
Once you approve the initial design, we coordinate an on-site walk-through with our trusted tradespeople. This allows us to secure accurate labor estimates and provide a precise, comprehensive scope of work.
Step 4: Final Estimate & Project Commitment
In our final review, we present the refined design alongside all material and labor quotes. To secure your place on our schedule, a design retainer is collected, which is applied directly to your total project cost.

Jennifer Wintress
Jennifer views interior design not just as a service, but as a disciplined art form. By merging a strategic business mindset with a creative lens, she delivers curated environments that balance sophisticated form with daily function. At the core of Jennifer’s approach is her distinguished academic background. Holding a Master of Fine Arts (MFA), she brings a level of design theory, spatial awareness, and a compassionate attitude to her work that is rare in the industry. She is dedicated to ensuring that every project she touches results in an inspiring, enduring reality—transforming the abstract ideas of her clients into meticulously executed sanctuaries.
Designer & Cabinetry Consultant
Cathy Hoy
Cathy brings over 10 years of specialized experience in cabinetry and interior design to the Element Design Studio team. Originally honing her craft in Colorado, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Suffolk University and the prestigious New England School of Art & Design in Boston, MA.
Known for being incredibly detail-oriented and outgoing, Cathy excels at taking the lead on projects and turning complex visions into functional, beautiful realities. Whether she is crafting intricate 3D renderings or coordinating the fine details of a kitchen remodel, her professional approach ensures every client feels supported from the first draft to the final install.

Ben Wintress
Ben believes that clear communication and technical integrity create a business people can trust. His experience as an Assistant Professor brings a focus on organizational leadership and project management to the team. Ben also contributes technical proficiency in web design, SEO, and digital media, maintaining Element Design Studio’s modern and effective online presence.
Director of Finance
Carol Jones
Carol brings financial expertise from more than three decades in the field. Early in her career, Carol worked in the banking industry specializing in budgeting and financial modeling. Most recently she has worked in higher education with an emphasis in international finance. Carol has developed a stable and pragmatic approach to managing Element Design Studio’s financial operations.
